Today I was searching on-line to see if I could find any of my images being used without my permission. Sure enough with in a few minutes I found one of my more popular images being used on a local Real Estate / Rentals website. Never once was permission given for them to use it and no attribution to me in the way I would require it was given. If you happen to be reading this blog and don't understand what All Rights Reserved means then you should educate yourself. On my flickr page and here every single image is displayed under the All Rights Reserved Copyright. Meaning in plain english, Do Not Use My Work Without First Getting My Permission.

I will persue legal action when necessary. It is the same as stealing from me or not paying me for work I have done for you. I've in the past given people the OK to use some of my photgraphs for projects they are involved in at no charge. These were not business that are perfectly capable of asking for and paying for my work.

People who do that should be aware of the consequences.

I have contacted this company and made it clear that I wanted the image removed from their website immediately. I'm still not sure how long I will give them before I get a lawyer involved.
